The titular move in question was the closure of three Dublin inner city institutions – the Adelaide, Meath and Harcourt Street hospitals and their moving to new premises in suburban Tallaght. Part one covered the build-up to the move and the feelings of staff and patients about the challenges of meeting a looming and complex deadline. Part two chronicled the move itself over one weekend in June 1988 and, returning six weeks later, explored how staff and patients had adjusted.
Broadcast on RTE1 over two weeks in October 1988.
